MEA Pre-Sales Manager

01. Essential Functions

Key Responsibilities

As our Pre-Sales Manager for Africa & the Middle East, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the success of our solutions in the region. Your responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the regional sales team to identify opportunities and support the full sales cycle with technical expertise.
  • Conducting detailed requirement analysis and designing tailored solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Delivering product presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities for prospects, partners, and government stakeholders.
  • Leading the preparation of technical documentation for tenders, RFPs, and proposals.
  • Collaborating with product and engineering teams to align customer requirements with Aratek’s offerings.
  • Training and supporting local partners/distributors to strengthen regional capabilities.
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities in Africa and the Middle East.
  • Supporting trade shows, exhibitions, and marketing events to showcase Aratek solutions.
  • Ensuring smooth knowledge transfer from pre-sales to post-sales/project implementation teams.
02. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Job Requirements

We’re looking for a customer-oriented professional who thrives at the intersection of business and technology. The ideal candidate will bring:

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of solution design, system integration, and technical proposal writing.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple countries and manage cross-cultural relationships.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Africa and the Middle East (up to 40–50%).
  • Proficiency in English (Arabic and/or French is a strong advantage).

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–7 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or Technical Support in IT, Security, or Biometric/Identity Management industries.
  • Proven success preparing and responding to government or enterprise tenders/RFPs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, and government clients in the region.
